A note from Beth and the AFP GM Board of Directors
Dear AFP Greater Madison Members,
Although we love it, we know that fundraising is never easy. Right now, it feels even harder. The work we do to inspire generosity and sustain our organizations is being challenged in ways that feel overwhelming. Recent actions and policies by our administration have created new uncertainties for nonprofits and the people we serve, and all of us are feeling that impact.
Please know that you are not alone. At AFP Greater Madison, we recognize the weight of these challenges and remain committed to supporting you. Our profession is built on relationships, trust, connection, and shared purpose. And in difficult times, our relationships matter even more.
We will continue to advocate for our profession, to provide opportunities for learning and growth, and to foster a community where fundraisers can turn to one another for support. Whether you need resources, a place to talk things through, or simply reassurance that we are in this together, we are here.
Thank you for the work you do every day to strengthen our communities. If you have ideas on how AFP Greater Madison can better support you during this time, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s keep showing up for each other.
With gratitude,
Beth Larson
President, AFP Greater Madison
