CFRE Informational Session 2022

About the Event

Are you considering becoming a CFRE? Not sure what a CFRE is? This virtual session will give you the chance to hear about what becoming a CFRE can do for your career, the path to certification, and resources available to you. Marta Weldon, recently certified as a CFRE  and now advocates for professionals in the field. Marta and a few local CFRE's will share their insight with you. 

This meeting will be held as a Zoom meeting but will not be recorded. 

About Marta

Marta is recognized as a highly creative communicator, collaborator, and facilitator in the arts, education, and youth-serving spaces. She brings more than 30 years’ of strategic leadership experience to help nonprofits create cultures of generosity that propel them to achieve their mission.

Marta has served in executive, fundraising, and marketing leadership roles with such organizations as the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and Fox Valley Symphony, Wisconsin Foundation for School Music, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley and Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. 

Marta received degrees from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the University of Michigan with additional studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. She and husband Michael are on a quest to hike the 1,100-mile Ice Age Trail while enjoying time in Wisconsin and Virginia with their adult children and families.
