Dear AFP Members, Friends, and Community,
We know that we write to you in unprecedented times and a period of instability for our nonprofit partners and community. This is a difficult time for many and we want you to know that we are here for you. AFP Greater Madison has always been a hub for connection among our fundraising community. While we are unable to bring us all together we want to remain that during this time.
AFP Greater Madison Facebook page will be our central point of information over the next few weeks. If you are in need of support or inspiration from a fellow fundraiser, please let us know through social media. We will share requests from our members as well as resources that are being shared through many of our national partners.
During this time don't forget to take care of yourselves. If you happen to have some spare time, some computer based projects that we have heard shared are: cleaning your constituent information in your database, tagging, and sorting donor lists, and writing work plans for upcoming projects.
Locally, if you are in need of talking to someone to share an idea, a few of our board members have offered their personal contact information. Reach out to them at any time.
We are happy to share some fun stories of how we are coping with our new work from home or share photos of our dogs, cats and kids!
We know that our local community is resilient and through all of these challenges we will be stronger together. Please reach out to your community during this isolating times. We are excited to be together in person as soon as we are able.
