Scholarships Recipients Wanted. Could It Be You?

Throughout your entire career, professional development opportunities can help you elevate your professional skills through education, networking, leadership development, and more. Our scholarships are available for all fundraisers – whether you are an AFP member or not – to ensure access to AFP events, membership, and conferences as well as professional development opportunities outside of AFP.

Scholarship Highlight: AFP Membership Scholarship

Have you, someone you know, or one of your colleagues been interested in becoming an AFP member, but the price is holding you back? Do you think that being a part of the educational and networking opportunities of AFP could help your organization grow stronger? If so, please consider applying for a member scholarship!

Applications are now open for a scholarship to become an AFP member. This scholarship is open to fundraisers at all stages of their career and open to new and previous AFP members as well. Scholarships are given at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.

To be eligible to receive a membership scholarship, applicants must adhere to the general rules for all scholarships:

  • Scholarship recipients must reside or work in the Greater Madison area.

  • A recipient is only eligible for one scholarship each year. If awarded a scholarship, you must wait until the next calendar year to apply for a scholarship.

  • Scholarship recipient(s) is responsible for any additional fees or expenses outside of the awarded scholarship including fees incurred from making changes to their reservations.

  • Scholarships are nontransferable.

  • Scholarship recipient(s) agrees that if they do not attend the opportunity for which they’ve received a scholarship, scholarship recipient(s) will reimburse AFP Greater Madison the full amount of the scholarship funds they or any organization received.

  • Application and all attachments are reviewed according to the deadlines listed below.
