The State of Giving: AFP Greater Madison Annual Meeting & Community Conversation

About the Event

Giving is changing. The needs of our communities are evolving. And the work of building meaningful relationships between donors, nonprofits, and the people they serve has never been more important.

What are we seeing across Greater Madison? What challenges are fundraising professionals navigating? Where are we finding opportunity? And what might we need to do differently in the year ahead?

Join AFP Greater Madison for The State of Giving, a community conversation bringing together fundraising and philanthropy professionals to explore the forces shaping generosity and the work we do.

This isn't another panel. Through facilitated table conversations, you'll have the opportunity to exchange perspectives, learn from colleagues across the sector, and explore timely questions about the future of giving and philanthropy in our community.

You'll leave with:

  • Fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping giving in Greater Madison

  • Meaningful connections with fundraising and philanthropy colleagues

  • Space to reflect on what we're learning and what it means for your own work

  • One or two priorities to carry into your 2027 fund development planning

We'll also celebrate the year at AFP Greater Madison, recognize leadership transitions, and look ahead to what's next for our chapter.

Come ready to share, listen, and imagine what we can make possible together.

Let's learn from one another and help shape the future of giving in Greater Madison.
