Polter%202022%20headshot.jpgAndrew Polter, CFRE, serves as Senior Director of Development for the University of Cincinnati Foundation. In this role, he oversees all alumni fundraising for the institution’s College of Medicine. Polter most recently served as Director of Development for the UC Foundation, and Associate Director of Development at Eastern Kentucky University. He has additionally held development roles at Miami University, Boston Lyric Opera, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Chautauqua Institution. He earned a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Cincinnati and bachelor’s degree in music performance from Miami University. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and currently serves as one of 38 CFRE Global Ambassadors in the world. Polter also serves on the AFP Greater Cincinnati Board of Directors, where he leads all Community Engagement efforts. Polter is an active writer and presenter and is passionate about the topics of major gifts, building cultures of philanthropy, and innovation with the fundraising profession.
