Overview
Goodman Community Center seeks an experienced relationship builder to lead its corporate giving program. The Community Partnerships Manager will cultivate relationships with businesses, community leaders, and corporate partners to grow philanthropy, manage sponsorships, and coordinate volunteer partnerships supporting the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a corporate giving strategy
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partner relationships
- Network within the Madison business community
- Design customized sponsorship opportunities
- Collaborate with Executive Team, Board, and Development staff on major gifts
- Coordinate corporate volunteer programs
- Prepare proposals, reports, and donor communications
- Plan and oversee fundraising events, including budgets and logistics
- Maintain accurate donor database records
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years managing corporate fundraising, partnerships, or foundation giving
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Proven event-planning experience
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and work occasional evenings/weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Nonprofit Management (or equivalent experience)
- Nonprofit fundraising background
