Manager of Communication and Organizational Support
Salary Range: $62,000 – $72,000
Job Summary:
Manager of Communication and Organizational Support reports to the President/CEO and is responsible for projects/outreach that increase awareness, understanding & support of effective philanthropy in Wisconsin.
Key Metrics of success
Develop membership specific communications
Recommending, establishing, championing & enforcing brand guidelines
Serving as point of contact for editing publications/website management
Developing internal and external communications calendar
Programming/Event Support
Providing first draft/editing for communications tools & outreach
Supporting our content management system & integrated programs (candidate to be trained)
Identifying opportunities & best practice within the sector
Managing media outreach & communication
Assisting development of graphic support documents/collateral
Participating in organizational events
Supporting team members
Participation in national partnership opportunities

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, incumbent will also complete a background & reference check.
Min. three years of professional or educational experience in any combination of communications, philanthropy, non-profit, project management, or event planning.
Ability to gain understanding of philanthropy & philanthropic principles.
Ability to flawlessly communicate (excellent oral and written communication skills).
Excellent time management.
Ability to manage effectively within available resource allocations.
Working knowledge of virtual platforms, social media & tools for relationship building.
Strong project management skills.
Adept at building/maintaining relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively with others/in diverse settings.
Resourceful, optimistic, opportunistic, creative, innovative, flexible.
Ability to work without micro-supervision.
Ability to adjust to the bumps along the way/utilize effective listening skills.
