AFP Global Compensation Survey Responses Due Friday

The 2026 AFP Compensation and Benefits Survey is live online right now, with responses requested by Feb. 27.

Why participate?

The annual Compensation and Benefits Survey provides our sector with a snapshot of trends across the U.S. and Canada, acting as the most comprehensive reference in the fundraising field. The survey reveals trends in benefits packages, provides a resource for fundraising professionals to understand fair salary levels, and strengthens our sector’s professionalism.

The more data, the better. Your input will become part of hiring, HR, and sector advocacy conversations nationwide.

What to expect

Plan to take about 15–20 minutes to complete the full survey (I timed it!). It’s anonymous and securely administered by professionals.

The survey’s sections cover multiple topics, including your demographics, current salary and recent changes, non-salary benefits such as paid time off, and your expectations for any changes in compensation this year.
