We are seeking a creative and strategic Membership Manager to engage, retain, and grow our membership community while advancing our global conservation mission. As ICF's primary advocate for membership, you will play a key part in connecting supporters to the organization's conservation work.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is $54,000-57,000. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional evening and weekend events and travel throughout the United States for festivals and outreach activities. The position is based at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI, and offers a hybrid schedule with the option to work from home 2-3 days per week.

As the Membership Manager, you will develop and implement innovative strategies to attract new members, increase engagement and retention, and build long-term relationships with supporters. In collaboration with colleagues across the organization, you will create meaningful opportunities for members to connect with ICF's work, lead targeted outreach and marketing initiatives, and use audience insights and membership data to drive engagement and growth. You will also serve as an ambassador for ICF by engaging with members, visitors, and community partners while ensuring membership remains an entry point for lifelong involvement with the organization.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with at least 3 years of experience in membership, fundraising, marketing, communications, audience engagement, or a related field. Candidates should be strategic, data-informed, collaborative, and skilled in project management. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, fundraising, nonprofit management, or a related field is required, with a demonstrated record of increasing constituent engagement, acquisition, and retention. Experience with conservation, environmental, educational, cultural, or other mission-driven organizations is preferred.
