Membership Fundraising Manager

Salary Range: Minimum $65,000

Job Summary:

Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and PBS Wisconsin seek a Membership Fundraising Manager to collaboratively lead and execute key membership fundraising activities, including direct mail, email, telemarketing and neighborhood canvass campaigns.

Reporting to the Membership Director and working within the team of development professionals that secures membership support for WPR and PBS Wisconsin, the Membership Fundraising Manager develops, leads and executes multi-channel campaigns with a special focus on the core techniques that drive annual giving by members: direct mail and email campaigns to prospective and current members; stewardship of the large and dedicated community of sustaining donors for each organization; and oversight of vendor partners who conduct telemarketing and canvassing activities. This role works in close collaboration with colleagues in Membership and Major Giving to coordinate messaging and strategy and grow support through emerging fundraising channels. The person in this position will also support member drives for WPR and PBS Wisconsin as needed, including writing scripts and staffing pre-scheduled shifts as a fundraising producer.

The Membership Fundraising Manager's responsibilities center on the operational management, analysis, and continuous improvement of membership fundraising techniques for WPR and PBS Wisconsin. This role also plays a key role in overall Membership unit strategy, goal-setting, communications and the development of associated budgets.
