Executive Director - Non-Profit

Friends of San Damiano (FoSD) seeks its first executive director to lead the organization at a pivotal moment in its growth. With a visionary master plan and a public-private relationship established with the City of Monona, FoSD is transitioning from a volunteer-driven organization into a professionally led nonprofit prepared to bring the community’s vision for San Damiano to life. The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive, providing strategic leadership, driving fundraising efforts, overseeing operations, and cultivating relationships that advance the mission. This role will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, the City of Monona, and the broader community to successfully realize long-term goals.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, entrepreneurial leader with executive nonprofit experience and an established fundraising network in the greater Madison area. A proven track record with capital campaigns is desired, as a key priority will be launching and managing a multi-million-dollar campaign to support the San Damiano Master Plan. Above all, the Executive Director will passionately advocate for creating an inclusive, sustainable lakeside destination for all.
