Donor Relations and Fundraising Consultant

By: Latino Academy of Workforce Development, Inc.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000

Job Summary:

The Latino Academy of Workforce Development is looking for a skilled and relationship-driven fund development professional or consultant to support our fundraising work on a part-time or contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows Madison’s workforce development landscape and understands the unique strengths and needs of the Latino community.

We’re looking for someone who can build and maintain strong relationships—with donors, funders, partners, and community members—and who brings both strategy and heart to the role. Key responsibilities include supporting fundraising communications, overseeing our donor CRM system, and helping strengthen internal systems that support long-term development efforts.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential—this is the most important qualification for the role. The ability to build trust, sustain relationships, and manage multiple priorities with clarity and professionalism is central to success in this position.

You’ll work closely with our Executive Director, program staff, and partners to grow our funding base, engage supporters, and expand our impact. If you’re passionate about building community through education and economic opportunity and want to contribute in a flexible, mission-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
