Safe Communities of Madison & Dane County is seeking a Communications & Engagement Manager to lead the organization's communications, marketing, and community engagement efforts. For more than 25 years, Safe Communities has worked with healthcare, public health, education, law enforcement, fire/EMS, businesses, and local governments to prevent injuries and save lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies.
- Create content for newsletters, social media, press releases, annual reports, and promotional materials.
- Manage the website, email marketing, and digital communications.
- Support fundraising communications, donor engagement, and community outreach.
- Coordinate media relations and maintain brand consistency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, public health, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, project management, and digital communications skills required. Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media required. WordPress, CRM, email marketing, photography, or graphic design experience is a plus.
