Grants & Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:

YWCA Madison is seeking candidates for a Grants & Compliance Coordinator. The Grants and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of the YWCA Madison Grants, from researching potential sources of funding, to developing requests in collaboration with Department leaders, and submitting proposals. The Coordinator is responsible for submitting grant reports and insuring that the organization is fulfilling requirements from all funding sources.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years non-profit grant-writing experience, excellent research, writing and proofreading, editing planning, conceptual and strategic thinking skills.  In addition, candidates should possess the ability to communicate in a compelling and succinct manner, solid understanding of financial reporting and budgeting and the ability to communicate and work with diverse constituents, including funders, Board members and community group leaders.
