Job Summary:

Wisconsin Youth Company is growing its fundraising capacity in order to provide more engaging opportunities to the children and families of south-central Wisconsin. We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative fund development staff to join our team. Position Summary: This position is responsible for coordinating all fundraising efforts of the organization in collaboration with the executive director, communications director and community outreach director. The coordinator, working directly with the executive director, will provide leadership on all fundraising initiatives including donor cultivation, donor relations, donation tracking, major giving, and any specific campaigns. The goal of this position is to expand the capacity of the organization to raise funds to support its mission. Primary Responsibilities: • Create and implement strategies for donor development and cultivation • Create, implement and maintain major gifts and monthly giving programs • Identify and pursue new sources of corporate and foundation funding • Develop fundraising campaign messaging in coordination with the communications team • Responsible for acknowledgement of gifts, donations and some grants • Manage the donor database effectively ensuring that information is accurate and current Qualifications/Skills: • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Bloomerang or similar donor database experience desirable) • Ability to work well with staff from all backgrounds with varying degrees of experience in fund development • Willingness and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment • Confident and experienced in public relations with partners and donors • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written • Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis or concentration in business, marketing, public relations or a related field • Two to five years’ experience with development in a non-profit setting, experience working in the Madison area is a plus Employment Benefits: We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees. Fund Development Coordinator: Year-round full-time position, $47,000-52,000 per year, exempt Standard business hours Monday-Friday, some evening and weekend hours as needed.
