Job Summary:

Job Summary: REAP Food Group is a growing and innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports actions and policies that will create a lasting foundation for a thriving local food system. REAP is seeking a creative and principled community-facing Executive Director with the core values, operational management, fundraising, and food systems knowledge necessary to successfully guide REAP’s work and strategic growth. The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Directors.

Location: REAP’s office is located at 306 E. Wilson St., Suite 2W, Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Type: Full Time, Supervisory, Exempt

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with generous benefits as described in the full position description. 

This position will remain open until filled. Interviews of applicants will begin in mid-February, 2022. Anticipated start date of April 11, 2022, or sooner.

Desired Technical/Professional Knowledge:

  • Food and Agriculture Policy

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)

  • Fundraising and donor development

  • Nonprofit financial management

How to Apply:

Core Competencies: 

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in progressively senior positions and at least three years of operational management experience at a nonprofit organization;

  • Fundraising and donor development;

  • Experience with public policy campaigns and issue advocacy;

  • Public speaking and strategic communications;

  • Creative problem solving and social entrepreneurship;

  • Cultural competence and experience working with diverse stakeholders and constituents;

  • Ability to inspire and cultivate talent and effectively manage a high performing team;
