Event Specialist

Job Summary:

The Event Specialist is a new position and is responsible for coordinating the administration and implementation of two large fundraising events. Key duties include event volunteer management; sponsor and participant stewardship, administrative oversight, and communications, marketing and development.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Fund development with an emphasis on event planning and implementation.
  • Coordinate marketing and other communications efforts related to events.
  • Manage event volunteers, especially those in leadership roles.
  • Donor and sponsor stewardship and solicitation.

How to Apply:

This position is a year-round, part-time position (20 hour per week at maximum, fewer hour in winter, more in summer/early fall).  Schedule is flexible, with remote work site/home office.   Start date as soon as possible.
