Job Summary:

Madison Community Foundation is currently seeking a Digital Content Specialist to join the Communications Team. This position plays a key role in advancing MCF’s mission by helping build meaningful connections with MCF’s various constituents through timely digital content creation and management.

The Digital Content Specialist will plan, coordinate, create and post content for MCF’s blog, website and electronic newsletters, and will manage MCF’s social media strategy and channels. This role requires superior content strategy and writing skills; attention to detail; strong planning, organization and project management skills; deep understanding of social media marketing strategies and what works best on each platform; a working knowledge of html; familiarity with AP style; and experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite products.

Personal attributes that are fundamental to the role include: creativity; ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, to work independently, to stay apprised of social media and web trends and best practices; and a willingness to consider a wide range of perspectives and see content creation through a DEI lens to ensure representation from all voices.

An Undergraduate degree and five years of work experience or equivalent relevant experience required.

This individual will report to the Communication Director and will work closely with all departments. Hourly range of $21.00 to $26.00, depending on experience.
