The vibrant and talented professional development team in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Office for Development & Alumni Relations seeks to fill the full-time position of Assistant Development Director – Sheldon B. Lunar School of Business. As the need for private funding increases to support university priorities, fund development for the Lubar School of Business is critical. It is an exciting time be at UWM with a wide array of philanthropic opportunities and needs to support student success, research excellence, and community engagement. The university is nearing completion of a multi-year comprehensive campaign that has identified many new donors and prospects, and the Lubar School of Business will welcome a new Dean in the coming months.
The Assistant Development Director will manage a portfolio of 150 – 200 prospects/donors; execute qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities; build academic partnerships to strengthen fundraising opportunities and support from alumni; and collaborate with other development staff to implement annual fundraising strategies.
The position will report to the Senior Development Director, Lubar School of Business.
