Purpose of Position:
The Development Director will maintain and build relationships in an assigned portfolio. This portfolio is a blend of accounts that cut across business sectors. Their objective is to raise dollars, grow leadership giving, achieve annual campaign goals, and identify opportunities for growth in existing and new accounts while utilizing volunteers and community stakeholders to meet and exceed goals. This position will also seize opportunities to partner with companies and engage employees in United Way’s work year-round on specific United Way Community Engagement strategies that may yield non-financial resources including, but not limited to, oversight of United Way of Dane County (UWDC) giving societies/affinity groups.
