Development Associate

Job Summary:

DAIS is seeking a part-time Development Associate to join our vibrant and growing team committed to the empowerment of those affected by domestic violence.
The Development Associate will provide comprehensive support to the DAIS development team. Responsibilities will include receiving and processing donations, entering and acknowledging gifts, administrating the donor database, managing foundation grant reports and timelines and providing general administrative assistance to the development team.

Applicants without a college degree, but with relevant work experience will be considered. A degree is preferred but is not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is required. A minimum of two years of administration and database experience required. A minimum of one year of development experience in a nonprofit setting is preferred. Knowledge of database management (e-tapestry or Raiser’s Edge) is preferred. Lastly, grant writing and reporting experience is preferred.
