Capital Campaign Director

Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the CEO, the Campaign Director will work closely with St. Coletta’s leadership, board members, and major donors to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aimed at achieving our financial goals. The Campaign Director will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional care and support to the individuals we serve.
  • Campaign Leadership: Develop and lead the strategic direction of the capital campaign, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Donor Cultivation: Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors to secure significant contributions for the campaign.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute a detailed campaign plan, including timelines, fundraising targets, and strategies for each phase of the campaign.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with St. Coletta’s executive team, the Steering Committee, board members, and volunteers to ensure engagement and success across all campaign phases.
  • Communications & Marketing: Oversee campaign messaging, marketing materials, and donor communications to ensure clear, compelling, and consistent outreach.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on fundraising progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
  • Overall Campaign Success: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage all aspects of a capital campaign, ensuring the successful achievement of fundraising goals through strategic planning, effective donor engagement, and continuous monitoring of progress.
  • Education and/or Experience:  Must have a Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years prior experience. Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge. Must show proven experience in managing capital campaigns, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting. Demonstrate success in securing major gifts and managing high-net-worth donors.
