Annual Giving - Engagement Center Coordinator

Job Summary:

St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking an Annual Giving - Engagement Center Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, this position manages and develops the Engagement Center to generate annual support for the St. Norbert Fund and other college priorities. This position is also responsible for partnering with other areas in Advancement and developing the Student Philanthropy program. The pay range for the position is $19.00 - $21.50 per hour. The hours are Monday - Thursday from 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm & Fridays from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  

Specific responsibilities:

Manage and oversee each nightly calling shift, comprised of up to 10 student callers and 2 student managers at a time. This may include developing incentives and motivational programs, troubleshooting technical problems, and following up on questions and/or issues arising during each shift. - 35% 

Analyze nightly reports and results to ensure progress is being made on the path toward completion of goals. These results may include credit card rates, participation rates, upgrade/downgrade rates, contact rates, etc. - 20% 

Collaborate with the Director of Annual Giving to complete a comprehensive solicitation schedule in order to maximize results. Write and/or edit scripts for each pool/segment as needed. - 15% 

Develop an annual recruitment plan to maintain a functional level of attendance for each scheduled calling shift. Interview, hire, and onboard new student hires. Create and facilitate a training program for new student callers.  - 15% 

Develop and implement a comprehensive student philanthropy program which includes building philanthropic awareness for current students and managing the senior class gift initiative. - 15%

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education -

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Experience and Credentials -

  • One year of experience in marketing, fundraising or other field requiring strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College.

  • Previous experience with VanillaSoft calling software is preferred.
