Volunteer Fundraiser: Betty Harris Custer

Join Betty Harris Custer in a discussion of volunteer fundraising in our community.  Salli Martyniak, President of Forward Community Investments, will lead the discussion. Custer serves as Chair of the Overture Center Foundation Board, development committee chair for the Lussier Community Education Center, and a member of the Chazen Council. In additional, Custer Harris serves as a financial advisor to Operation Fresh Start, the Literacy Network, and Madison Ballet.

She has won a National Community Leadership Award from the Invest in Others Foundation, the 2008 National Philanthropy Day Volunteer of the Year, and a YWCA Woman of Distinction award.
